Our client is seeking a SharePoint System Administrator for a 12-month contract opportunity in Jacksonville, FL! 

Provides expert level expertise to others in the planning, analysis and implementation of complex integrated technology systems, emergency planning processes and disaster recovery efforts. Consults with internal customers from multiple business units to determine cross functional technology/application system requirements. Acts as a technical advisor to other analysts and/or project teams and provides leadership in resolving complex technical issues.

Expert – Professional level understanding of the required competencies with demonstrated skills and abilities coupled with extensive experience for successful application in difficult and complex work assignments with minimal supervision. Serves as a key resource for technical issues that cross functional and organizational lines. May assist in defining future IT architecture.

Knowledge of:
  • Setup, configuration, and management of SharePoint Online application features, functions, and services.
  • Performing standard SharePoint Site Collection Administration duties such as creating and managing sites, libraries, lists, and workflows; managing features, functions, security groups, user permissions, content types, columns, and content management.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, pursue, elicit, and document requirements for planning, designing, and developing information systems that enable quality improvements, increased collaboration, greater transparency, monitoring of business performance, and improved communication, productivity, and detailed reporting.
  • Strengthening SharePoint adoption by promoting SharePoint capabilities to organization stakeholders. Producing communication and presentation materials; and conducting demos and training.
  • Information systems analysis, design, programming and installation.
  • Programming languages and coding techniques.
  • Computer hardware, software and data communications functionality and capability.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and procedures.
  • Process management, performance tracking and measurement tools.
  • Local, state and federal emergency planning processes.
  • Intermediate level systems and business architecture design concepts.
  • Information Technology Library Infrastructure (ITIL) framework and best practices.
  • Client and Technology Services infrastructure, sufficient to consult across organizational lines with cross functional teams in resolving problems and issues.
  • Data-driven problem-solving techniques and technical report writing.
  • Various cross-platform information systems.
  • Configuration management concepts and tools.
  • Applicable industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in the specific discipline being recruited or related field and six (6) years of professional experience in the specific computer systems analysis, software development, system configuration and/or programming languages, etc. for the discipline being recruited.
  • OR A ten (10) year combination of education, training and experience in the specific computer systems analysis, software development, system configuration and/or programming languages, etc. for the discipline being recruited.
  • Required to assist in maintaining 24 X 7 systems availability.
Collaboration/Teams:
  • Manage meetings, including meeting policies, configurations, and conference bridges.
  • Manage voice, including calling policies and phone number inventory and assignment.
  • Manage messaging, including messaging policies.
  • Manage all org-wide settings, including federation, teams upgrade, and teams client settings.
  • Manage the teams in the organization and their associated settings, including membership
  • Manage conference room and telephony devices and set up and assign configuration policies.
  • View user profile page and troubleshoot user call quality problems using advanced troubleshooting toolset.
  • Strengthening Microsoft Teams and WebEx adoption by promoting capabilities to organization stakeholders. Producing communication and presentation materials; and conducting demos and training.
  • Training users and acting as first-line support for Microsoft Teams and WebEx stakeholders.
  • Access all reports in the Microsoft Teams or WebEx admin center
  • Access, monitor and troubleshoot tenant's call quality and reliability. Create new call quality reports, update and remove call quality reports as needed.
  • Publish apps to the tenant app catalog in the Microsoft Teams admin center or WebEx Control Hub
  • Assists in the purchasing process.
Communication & Space Reservation Administrator
  • Strengthening AppSpace adoption by promoting capabilities to organization stakeholders. Producing communication and presentation materials; and conducting demos and training.
  • Training users and acting as first-line support for AppSpace stakeholders.
  • Configure and manage Kiosks, Guest Check-in, Digital Reception, Employee Directory, Wayfinding & Maps
  • Configure Digital Signage hardware and software to Digital Signs, Meeting Rooms (on collaboration devices) & Video Walls
  • Upload floor plans to a building, campus, or individual floors, and map resources and points of interest to these floor plans
  • Configure Meeting room displays for reservations & schedules, Make Room Reservations, View Availability and Check-in and Microsoft Calendar & Exchange
  • Configure Employee App for employee communications, Rooms & Desks Reservations and Building Access
  • Keep people and rooms in sync. Manage capacity and safety guidelines
  • Enable/Disable Workspace/Building Pass Reservation
  • Configure Notifications for Enterprise Messaging Apps
  • Configure & Customize Email Notifications
  • Create and publish a channel to devices
SharePoint:
  • Setup, configuration, and management of SharePoint application features, functions, and services.

  • Training users and acting as first-line support for SharePoint stakeholders.
  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting integrated SharePoint solutions, web parts, templates, and workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate.
  • Regularly reviewing, configuring, and cleaning-up user accounts, permission groups, sites, and content to ensure stability and usability of the Site Collection and to safeguard important data.
  • Managing and maintaining permission groups, security settings, and site access.
  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
Insights & Knowledge Administrator
  • Deploy and manage programs for the ?Viva Insights? app
  • Manage all aspects of ?Viva Insights?
  • Read and configure service health in the ?Azure portal?
  • Create and manage support tickets in the ?Azure portal?
  • Create and manage content, including topics and acronyms
  • Design and Manage taxonomies as part of the term store management tool and create content centers
  • Design and Manage access to content through security groups
  • Read analytics reports of knowledge, learning, and content understanding settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Manage all standard properties in SharePoint
  • Create and delete all resources in SharePoint
  • Read and configure Service Health in the ?Microsoft 365 admin center?
  • Create and manage service requests in the ?Microsoft 365 admin center
Power Platform:
  • Develop technical solutions for scalable enterprise SharePoint Online solutions using customization and configuration techniques, including use of Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Work with customers and the development team in design, administration and maintenance of SharePoint Online-based business solutions.
  • Design solutions based on established patterns and best practices around Content Management, User Adoption, Governance and Change Management.
  • Design and develop apps for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, JavaScript, OAuth, and OData.
  • Develop solutions that comply with SharePoint Online development best practices.
  • Assist with converting legacy InfoPath Forms and SharePoint Designer workflows to leverage Power Platform tools
  • Manage Conference Room and A/V devices and set up and assign configuration policies.
