Exciting new opportunity for a Sr Software Engineer (API) with strong API integration and data retrieval experience. Must be US based but can sit in any time zone, as this is a remote position.

Our client is the global SaaS Identity powerhouse. They are looking for a skilled professional who is proficient in API integration and data retrieval. The ideal candidate should also have strong data analytics skills to create API-supported queries for extracting and organizing targeted information. Additionally, the candidate should be able to develop automation solutions for scheduling data retrieval tasks.

Contract Duration: 3 months
 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • An engineer with 5+ years of work experience using Java and Python programming languages to build web applications.
  • Experience building API authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Proven experience in automating API calls for efficient data retrieval
  • Solid grasp of data analytics concepts, enabling you to craft effective queries to extract desired insights.
  • Proven experience in using Javascript, HTML, and CSS to build web applications
  • Basic knowledge of AWS, such as EC2 and S3
  • Demonstrated capability in developing automation solutions for scheduling and managing API-based data retrieval tasks.

  • API Authentication and Authorization: Proficiently navigate the intricacies of API authentication and authorization processes to ensure secure and seamless access to data.
  • Automated Data Retrieval: Design and implement automated solutions to efficiently make API calls for retrieving substantial datasets, demonstrating expertise in optimizing data fetching processes.
  • Data Analytics and Querying: Utilize your data analytics prowess to construct intricate queries supported by APIs, facilitating the extraction of specific and relevant data sets to meet defined requirements.
  • Web Application Development: Design intuitive web application dashboards to visualize data, enhancing user accessibility and understanding.
  • Scheduled Job Automation: Develop automation workflows to schedule and manage recurring data query jobs through API interactions, streamlining data retrieval on a regular basis.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Display an intrinsic drive to explore and innovate, identifying diverse pathways to achieving project goals and addressing challenges that may arise during the integration and automation processes.
