Title: Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities of Senior Project Manager

  • Must have good technical background and experience with Kafka and Event Driven Architectural project
  • Work closely with vendors
  • Large, complex programs of change or implementation, involving multiple enterprise-wide stakeholders and teams
  • Events processing & streaming with a good understanding of the fundamentals of an events ecosystem
  • Moving from a batch processing environment to a realtime, event driven environment


Additionally:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify, summarize and capture the project objectives, requirements and associated backlogs
  • Partner with Product Owners and Technology Owners on regular progress updates to be presented
  • Plan, facilitate and summarize new product increment planning events
  • Document and manage risks, issues and dependencies crossing workstreams
  • Escalate and track impediments crossing workstreams
  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Understand and operate within budgets, complete monthly forecasts
  • Facilitates adoption of business process changes and leads project team and stakeholders through effective change management
  • Lead the development of training, communication, and rollout plans


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
  • 10+ years of strong project management skills and relevant experience
  • Senior management related leaderships skills
  • Experience executing enterprise-level projects and/or product management
  • Superior communication skills
  • Experience with Data-centric, complex system integrations and deploying vendor hosted applications
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall methodologies and related certifications
  • Proven leadership, relationship management, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Can provide a successful track record of senior project level experience, including large scale enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Strong people leadership skills
