Title: Sr Data Science Analyst
Location: Must reside within 150 miles of Phoenix, AZ
Our client is offering a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Sr Data Science Analyst to join their team. As a lead contributor, you will be responsible for developing models and conducting data analysis while guiding junior team members to meet project goals. Collaboration with technical and business experts is essential in translating business requirements into mathematical solutions. You will also leverage modern cloud technologies and best practices to ensure high-quality production code. Additionally, you will independently perform advanced analysis and present actionable insights to a broad audience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering or analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience, OR
- Master's degree in a technical engineering or analytical field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or related discipline with 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL programming
- Knowledgeable in at least three analytical areas
- Ability to visualize data programmatically
- Experience with the end-to-end Data Science development workflow
- Familiarity with MLOps/DevOps concepts and Azure Machine Learning Environment
- Knowledge of Software Engineering and Object-Oriented Programming Principles
- Experience with Distributed Parallel Processing Environments (e.g., Spark, Snowflake)
- Familiarity with Edge Analytics, embedded systems, or computer vision
- Understanding of Data Architecture, engineering, and ETL teams
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis experience with production workloads
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Occasional travel to Phoenix, AZ
