Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s/University degree.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology.
- Subject matter expertise in area of focus.
- End User Computing
- Experience of remediating risk due to use of End User Computing applications in production business processes essential.
- Banking domain knowledge.
- Significant financial services experience is required.
- Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work.
- Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques; structure potential solutions; drive to resolution with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Technology/Data Management/Information Systems Certification.
- Institutional clients / wholesale banking sector experience.
- Experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects, or audit.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work with lines of business and technology teams to develop approach, plan and targets for the remediation of End User Computing (EUC) tools across the business.
- Experienced in detailing processes, identifying controls, and documenting procedures which would be audit-ready.
- Understand ambiguous problems and quickly develop compelling presentations and meeting materials that will move people to action.
- Synthesize clear takeaways from complex meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Develop reporting on progress against technology budget for EUC remediation.
- Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
- Lead or support communications with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership, audit and regulators. These communications can include dashboards, newsletters, reporting, presentations or forums to provide senior management awareness of the EUC/End User Solutions (EUS) program.
- Support departmental activities and administrative matters with cross-functional partners with respect to routine and ad hoc initiatives and requests. Drive strong partnerships, high quality deliverables, and seamless engagement, coordination and communication on behalf of ICG technology.
- Partner, collaborate and work with other areas within the company, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions/decisions.
Additional duties as assigned, such as:
- Establish process documentation, guidance and organize additional training as required.
- Prepare stakeholder reporting.
- Influence diverse stakeholders at various levels of seniority without direct reporting relationships to ensure appropriate response and sense of urgency.
