Responsibilities:
- Coordinating all aspects of the attorney recruitment program, ensuring appropriate and timely communication and coordination with candidates, firm attorneys, administrative management and third-party recruiters.
- Managing the applicant and new hire database, including ensuring efficient tracking of candidates, appropriate responses to candidates, and relevant information maintained on each candidate.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with third-party recruiters, and ensuring execution of and compliance with the firm’s placement agreement.
- Conducting due diligence on candidates, including without limitation, review of background checks, conversations with references, etc.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with law schools.
- Overseeing and managing law student or entry level recruitment, including, if appropriate, any summer clerks.
- Monitoring the recruiting budget and supporting the CRO in the reimbursement and budgeting process.
- Maintaining recruiting statistics and preparing periodic reports and analyses.
- Ensuring participation in industry surveys and being current on industry trends.
- Assisting with attorney integration including organizing and overseeing events.
- Maintaining both the internal and the external recruiting web pages.
- Actively serving in NALP and local recruiting organizations.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Prior experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiting Assistant.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to independently problem-solve with minimal supervision.
- A high degree of professionalism and the ability to work well with employees at all levels of the Firm.
- Flexibility for overtime.
