Project Manager, Enterprise Systems

Role Overview: You will report directly to the Director Enterprise Systems and will be responsible for leading, governing, and ensuring the successful delivery of various transformational initiatives. This role will serve as the lead project manager for the upcoming multi-site ERP implementation and will contribute to initiatives leading up to and resulting from this endeavor. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement best practices and tools for effective project execution and management.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to integrate change management best practices into project methodologies.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives and stakeholder input.
• Communicate project expectations clearly and timely to team members and stakeholders.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure effective ongoing communication and alignment.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, closely tracking progress and deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and critical path activities, preparing mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to project team members and contractors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and grow essential business relationships.
• Assess resource needs and balance allocation across multiple projects, ensuring availability.
• Monitor project budgets and negotiate resource acquisition as needed.
• Conduct post-project assessments and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business & Information Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in successful project management and 5-10 years in business analysis or management.
• 3+ years of prior experience as a Project/Program Manager for SAP Implementation or major upgrade.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, including Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP gained through implementation or support responsibilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into business language.
• Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate effectively, and drive results.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
