MATRIX has partnered with a premier client in filling a long term contract positions that be hybrid and be onsite in Omaha a few days a week.  Are you a Project Manager with data integrations experience and possibly worked with projects from initiation to the release? This position is for you!!!

This Project Management position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking the new Chargeback Automation project. The project manager will be a key resource to this project in maintain the scope and schedule of delivery throughout the life cycle, working directly with the technical delivery team along with other technical and business stakeholders ensuring the project goals are met to satisfaction.
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for managing all activities in the project life cycle (initiation, planning, execution/controlling, and closing).
  • Consult with business partners to clarify and define their requirements and use cases to develop and refine scope for project iterations.
  • Facilitate the documentation of customer requirements and business process using document analysis, requirements workshops, business process description, and use case scenarios.
  • Develop and revise complex project plans, working with stakeholders to understand problems with a resolution focus, escalating when necessary to meet the project objective and timelines.
  • Pro-actively managing changes in scope, identifying risks, and devising contingency plans.
  • Establish project timelines and roadmaps to ensure project objectives are being met in a timely manner with consideration for resource and budgetary needs.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various departments and organization.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Monitor and measure performance at a project level, establishing consistent metrics to define project health
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in project management or a related discipline and 3+ years of experience in people and resource management
  • Experience leading waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to communicate large, complex projects across multiple business units
  • Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interest of the project
  • Self-starter with a desire to dive in and drive projects to completion
  • Written and verbal communication skills to interact with business executive
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferences:
  • Experience with data integration projects
  • PMP or Agile Certifications
