Position: Process Consultant
Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, 28262-8522
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations.
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business.
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with managing documentation (2+ years).
  • Ability to research, define, and analyze business problems.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: process improvements, continuous improvement, or LEAN.
  • Experience identifying trends or areas of opportunity, including making recommendations for and/or developing operationally efficient policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage and work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Strong collaborator and empathetic listener who works with diverse groups to solicit multiple perspectives.
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Familiarity with intelligent automation and workflow tools (i.e. RPA, RDA, OCR, IBM, PEGA, etc.) a plus.
  • Process design/redesign and improvement experience a plus.
  • 2+ years of Collections, Recoveries or Back Office operations experience a plus.
  • 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
