This international industry leader has an immediate long-term contract opportunity in Vancouver, WA for a Part-time On Site Services Technician. Will be working 20 hours per week with flexible hours (Monday-Friday 8am-12pm is preferred).
Responsibilities include:

Locally assist centralized Global Incident Management teams with incidents and providing physical support to the onsite employees.

Fulfill standardized service requests - Act on services requested in the IT Self-Service tool (HEAT) in order to locally provide globally defined standard IT Products.

Control Lifecycle Management - Ensure that the equipment being used is according to the global standard and within the lifecycle as per defined by the Service Delivery teams and Product teams.

Perform administrative tasks around IT - Maintain the inventory of assets within responsibility. Procure the IT equipment within IT scope needed at the site.

Participate in local and global projects when approved by line manager.

Support global tasks, activities and pilots as needed.

Monitor and perform proactive support - Monitor windows computers with provided tools and aim to take proactive actions to stabilize and improve performance of individual computers.
This position requires:

2+ years of related onsite support experience.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.

Basic knowledge on working in a Service Management Tool.

Basic knowledge of standard IT platforms.

ITIL v3.0 Foundation certification is a plus.
