Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst - MTI
Contract Opportunity: 11 months
Location: Remote
 
Position Summary:
The Marketing Data Analyst will be a critical member of the team that focuses on integrating one of the largest acquisitions in SaaS software history.

The ideal candidate loves understanding and documenting marketing data and processes, and loves working with people. They love to learn and then educate others about data.

This person is excited to join a team of talented marketing operations professionals and to learn from each team member, while also sharing their own expertise and experience!
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • This person will support the Marketing Operations Managers in understanding, documenting, and analyzing key marketing data and processes within Enterprise Marketing.
     
  • The Marketing Data Analyst will support M&A activities like GAP analysis, UAT, and enablement collaboration. They find joy in making the businesses that they serve as successful as they can be, while also giving fellow employees and internal customers a pleasant and productive experience at the same time. They are self-starters and thrive in ambiguity, looking for areas where they can contribute and bring order/understanding where there is confusion or lack of knowledge.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience working with complex database architectures and the management / synthesis of data distributed across multiple systems
  • Mastery of query development, data transformation, modeling and reporting in Excel (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas) and SQL is a must
  • Experience working with data tables within Snowflake
  • Understanding of requirements for porting data into Tableau
  • Understanding of core marketing analytics concepts, like LTV, CPL, ROI measurement
  • Demonstrated experience creating documentation on data from scratch, leveraging a combination of logging into systems and self-teaching as well as holding interviews with internal SMEs
  • Experience within M&A projects or experience within large projects at 1000+ person company
  • Strong communication skills without an ego (open and interested in new ideas)
  • Listens carefully for task requirements and delivers finished product as promised. Speaks up and asks questions if there is a lack of understanding or clarity
  • Experience using the Google Suite of products (Google Docs, Google Sheets) as internal communication/collaboration tools
  • Experience learning new tools through self-learning or curiosity – not waiting on a guide or for others to teach, natural curiosity and self-starter attitude
  • Experience conducting GAP analysis and other system analysis to help inform strategic roadmaps and key decisions
  • Experience working with global marketing teams
 
 
Desired Skills:
  • Experience working with product data sets
  • B2B martech stack experience (ON24, SplashThat, RainFocus, Drift, Integrate.com, etc)
  • Marketing Cloud or Pardot experience
  • Integration building/maintaining experience – using tools like Zapier, Workato, Mulesoft
  • Experience using Quip as an internal communication/collaboration tool
  • Experience with javascript, SSJS, AMPScript
