Long term contract in Plano, TX for a Lease Accounting Analyst. Will have to go to the office more frequently during the training period.

Responsibilities:

Perform monthly reconciliation of billed subvention.
Record monthly journal entries to record billed subvention and related amortization.
Perform monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts impacted by subvention activity.
Create and manage outstanding subvention receivable reporting.
Lead weekly and quarterly subvention review meetings.
Work with cross functional teams to resolve settlement disputes on an ongoing basis..
Prepare schedules quarterly to support SEC and global reporting.
Serve as SME for all matters related to subvention billing and settlement.
Provide audit support to external audit, internal audit and SOX as needed.
Perform other duties to assist the Lease Accounting team as assigned.
Responsible for working with accounting, IT, incentives, and other programs.
Responsible with working with multiple teams.
Responsible for full cycle for the subvention program.
Responsible for working with several systems.
Responsible for working on recorded general entries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
Must have strong communication skills.
Required skills: SAP or Peoplesoft or Hyperion, ERP, MS Excel

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with MS Access.
Experience using Recon Net.
