Are you an experienced IT Project Manager (PM) that has five or more years experience leading other Project Managers including experience with hiring and performance management? We are looking to hire a new PMO Lead for our Project Management Office and looking for an experienced, hands on Project Manager that enjoys leading a team as well. This role will involve managing other Project Managers so you must have experience managing Project Managers. Experience working in a PMO to help establish and develop best practices, guidelines, processes and practices would be also required experience for this role. We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager that has worked in a PMO before and understands the need for consistency in process and documentation when running a project. Again, this role is hands on in that you will be also leading and managing large scale IT projects as well so thus leading a team but hands on as well.
To summarize, here is what is needed to be qualified for this PM role:
• Strong people management skills and experience including experience with hiring, terminations, onboarding, and performance management.
• Experience helping to document processes, guidelines, templates, and best practices within PMOs.
• Current hands on experience as an IT project manager and have worked complex large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Execution focused PM and able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong partnership record and an ability to build business relationships throughout the organization to foster respect and teamwork with internal and external partners.
• You can act independently, demonstrate leadership, and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
• You know how to create reports, analyses or scorecards for the management team and have strong verbal and written presentation skills.
• Project management certification e.g., PMP, CAPM, etc. would be ideal
• Experience working in a PMO and can easily adapt to our PMO processes
For this role, you will be working from our offices in Tampa, FL 3 days each week. This is a hybrid role and our offices are located near downtown Tampa, FL.
