ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Lead the design and development of end-to-end solutions that encompass software applications, infrastructure, data, and integration components.
·Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure the proposed solutions align with industry best practices and standards.
·Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
·Mentor and support junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
·Engage with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals.
·Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine project requirements and objectives.
·Present technical proposals and articulate the benefits and trade-offs of different architectural approaches.
·Evaluate existing systems and technologies to identify areas of improvement and optimization.
·Make informed decisions on technology selection, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
·Establish and enforce architectural principles, guidelines, and best practices across projects.
·Ensure that the solutions adhere to industry standards and align with the company's technology strategy.
·Identify potential risks associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
·Proactively address security, compliance, and data protection concerns in the architecture design.
·Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, timely delivery, and adherence to project milestones.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
·7+ years as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
·7+ expertise in designing solutions using various technologies, such as cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices, APIs, databases, event-based and big data technologies.
·Proven ability to drive application rationalization and Cloud Modernization in complex enterprise environments
·5+ years as an Agile practitioner working in an Agile development environments and strong experience with DevSecOps practices.
·Experience with manufacturing operations in Oracle or similar large ERP is preferred
·Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
