RESPONSIBILITIES
As the IT Project Coordinator / Project Manager, you will be focused on providing customer service and IT solutions to a large group of engineers working on a multi-year, multi-billion dollar initiative. Will be the center point of contact in Information Technology for this large team of engineers (growing to 300 engineers by the end of the year). In this role, you'll develop a general understanding of the delivery of technical solutions, process improvements and seamless support required to provide computing (IT) power to large business units. This job role is primarily based on learning and contributing with limited oversight and direction. Additional duties include:
- Onboarding new engineers / contractors and employees with the needed desktop computing technologies.
- Day 1 Onboarding
- Assist in Day 1 systems access
- Request Facility and Badge access
- Request hardware
- Confirm Users space
- Retrieve new users temporary password
- Conformation of ID and Basic IT access
- Identity Creation
- Offboarding
- Provide Cyber security awareness training to new teammates
- Key IT User Responsibilities
- Interface with the large company's Support Center
- LAN Group/User Management
- SharePoint Design and Documentation
- ???????Must be capable of setting up an extranet SharePoint site with collaboration between two large divisions, sharing documentation.
- Manage and support escalations, to influence timely resolution.
- Interaction with Project Leadership
- Strong background with troubleshooting and support of Desktops, Laptops, IP phones, connectivity, MS Office, email, an mobile devices.
- Strong project communication, coordination, and leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
