Position: Senior Data Management Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN
Term: 12 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and metadata activities.
- Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps.
- Analyze, assess, and test data controls and data systems to ensure quality and risk compliance standards are met.
- Identify data quality metrics and executes data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
- Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
- Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues.
- Develop and implement plans for assessing the quality of new data sources.
- Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members.
- Drive planning and coordination on low to medium sized remediation efforts, acting as central point of contact.
- Leverage domain expertise and data, business, or process analysis to inform and support solution design.
- Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.
- Participate in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies.
- Provide input into communication routines with stakeholders, business partners, and experienced leaders.

- 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality
- 3+ years of SQL experience
- 3+ years of experience performing data profiling
- 3+ years of experience in developing data quality rules
- 3+ years of experience with End to End (E2E) testing
- 1+ years of Agile experience
- Knowledge of data models and data supply chain
- 3+ years of financial services experience
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
- Working understanding of data management processes, and interaction models between technology, business and data management functions.
- 4+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prefer experience working in regulatory environment
- 3+ year of proficiency with DQ tools such as Ab Initio DQE/Express>IT, Metadata Hub
- Knowledge and understanding of data governance/data domain program development and implementation in a large organization across Multiple business functions.
- Working understanding of data management processes, and interaction models between technology, business and data management functions.
- Knowledge of Risk, Regulatory, Finance or Accounting.
- Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Knowledge and understanding of banking: regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures
