Position: Core Banking Platform Portfolio Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the Portfolio Manager for Core Banking platform (CBP).
  • Facilitates and manages all deliverables within CBP, across all lines of business.
  • Develops and implements processes and standards to facilitate the review and approval for all new requests to our vendor business partner (FIS).
  • Documents meeting minutes, decisions, tracks and manages all risks and issues.
  • Creates and presents status reports and executive dashboards on portfolio delivery schedule.
  • Facilitates new request and approvals with stakeholders.
  • May contribute and/or lead vendor relationship management for project-related vendors.
  • Supports enterprise vendor management standards.
  • Supports management in data gathering for regulatory and third-party reviews.
  • Monitors program execution and escalates program issues as necessary.
  • Maintains a flexible work schedule.
  • Perform other duties when assigned.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or an Engineering field.
  • 10+ years of combined Project Management and Technical experience.
  • Formal training in Project or Program Management.
  • Previous experience in:
    • Information technology and information systems.
    • Banking.
    • IT security and infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced in MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Extensive knowledge with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects within budget and on time.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, team building, mentoring, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and briefly.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels of the enterprise and with external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum direction.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to with multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall.
  • Able to review and analyze data reports and manuals.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
