Client in the DFW area is seeking an Application Integration (AI) specialist, skilled in Workato. This position can be 100% remote, with the initial duration beginning at 6 months. The Application Integration (AI) specialist's role is to plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization, overseeing testing of the interoperability of application modules including:
Those under development by in-house software development teams.
Commercial off-the-shelf software deployed in the organization.
Cloud solutions deployed/utilized by the organization
External third parties as necessary.
In this role, you will define and drive best practices around integration and automation working with business and technical stakeholders in their adoption of the Workato platform, among others.
Technical solutions expert with an aptitude for technical advising, troubleshooting, and analysis with strong communication skills. Must be proficient in communicating technically complex ideas to a non-technical audience. Help resolve technical problems and design scalable services.
Gather requirements jointly with Business Analyst team and lead the solution design process.
Develop and maintain assets for best practices, design and implementation patterns, etc.
Work closely with the Development and Business Analyst team(s) to review business requirements and identify opportunities for enhancements
Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by creating and contributing to a knowledge base.
Background in information systems, computing, engineering or equivalent industry experience.
10+ years of hands on experience in Solutions and Implementation (Retail and/or BI preferred).
Experience working with Integration Platforms such as TIBCO, Dell Bhoomi, Mulesoft, etc.
Technical background or a good understanding of technology and industry trends and best practices, especially in the app integration space.
Experience working with cloud business apps like Workday / SAP Business One Cloud / Salesforce / Snowflake is a plus.
Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design
Experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvement approaches.
Proven written and oral communication skills in English (Spanish fluency is a plus.)
Ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience.

Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mind-set.
