Our client is seeking a Visual Designer for a 6-month contract opportunity in Irving, TX!  You will be focused on building designs (low-fidelity to hi-fidelity) and end-to-end user flows for our client's enterprise digital solutions.

Success in this role revolves around three key tenets of understanding:
  • Understanding the users’ perspective
  • Design governance and working with design systems
  • Assisting with the management of the UX backlog
Tactful soft skills and being an active listener are a must. 

Be an owner of information gathering:
  • Stakeholders: Schedule and conduct stakeholder meetings to understand both business initiatives as well as the intentions behind user engagement of the platform
  • Platform: Review, analyze and map current platform flow architectures
  • Development: Seek out an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of platform-related development processes
  • Research: Collaborate with research team in planning research initiatives and then also in the analysis and deciphering of user feedback
The UX Lead sets up the system and process that will be used to design the final product.

Be a partner in plotting a course of action:
  • Design System Contributor: The design system language is in development and evolving. As a member on this team, it will be expected that you will be an active contributor in this evolution.
  • UI Layout: It will be necessary to convert the architectural strategies into high-fidelity layouts that conform to a pre-defined design system.
Basic Qualifications
  • Portfolio showcasing an ability in solutioning complex systems architecture
  • 5-8 years of experience leading end-to-end design efforts including enterprise applications (preferred), desktop, and/or mobile platforms
  • Highly skilled in Sketch. Experience with Abstract, Invision, Figma and other relevant design tools are a plus
  • A strong ability to build relations and work independently
  • Understanding of the full life cycle development of enterprise projects, within an Agile environment, is a plus
  • A degree related to Design, Computer Science, User Experience or relative field, and/or consummate experience
