Grow your career as a Validation and Program Testing Manager with an innovative global bank in Elk Grove Village, IL. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
  • Coordinate business validation plan by documenting and planning a task list for testing execution, specific to user acceptance through validation.
  • Manage the test script authoring, execution, and result documentation across front office business areas.
  • Gather and resolve issues that might arise across functional teams in assigned workstreams.
  • Partner with business to determine applicable cutover activities.
  • Manage the matrix testing resources to execute against the test plan.
  • Participate in or drive UAT and partner integration testing, collaborating with internal and external teams.
  • Coordinate delivery of test scenarios from Business and Operation to IT for positive, negative and regression testing.
  • Partner with IT Test Manager and Partner Integration Test Manager to ensure all testing and validation activities are accounted for.
  • Manage testing tools relative to strategic initiatives as identified in the Testing Strategy.
  • Provide escalation on issues and identify solutions that drive issue mitigation.
  • Develop and ensure traceability from business and user requirements through validation for requirements coverage.
  • Communicate testing status and updates to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for rollout plans and post-implementation management.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Manage projects through the entire life cycle adhering to an Agile and/or Hybrid Agile methodology.
  • 5+ years of testing management and project management experience including leading large complex programs over multiple releases.
  • Experience in defining and executing against a formal integration plan.
  • Strong understanding of business procedures, and financial services and products.
  • Familiarity with business applications, technology and B2B connectivity.
  • Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
