Position: University Relations Representative
Location: Plano, Texas 75024
Term: 12 Months Contract
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Will be developing and executing the company’s University Relations strategy across 3 of the company’s Tier 1 schools.
  • Will be responsible for building & implementing annual AOP’s and partnering with key internal & external stakeholders to drive the right presence and engagement across their respective universities. Will be developing & implementing attraction & engagement strategies and bringing our EVP to life on campus, with the ultimate goal of achieving our YoY volume growth, creating awareness of company opportunities, and positioning us as a top employer of choice.
  • Assisting UR team with Building and executing AOP’s and engagement strategies across Tier 1 schools to achieve hiring targets and build our employer brand on campus.
  • Partnering with Campus TA managers, function leads, HR, and the business to develop a holistic approach to our university strategy, bolster our engagement on campus, and position the company for success.
  • Influencing and leading business partners in the planning and continuous improvement of their college recruiting strategy, ensuring successful execution of all annual events, interviews and processes.
  • Expanding our diversity pipeline through developing and accelerating our partnerships with Diversity organizations at Tier 1 Schools, aligned to populations gaps.
  • Partnering with Executive Sponsors (SVP and RVP level) on the mobilization of respective Campus Teams to drive the right presence and engagement activities at assigned schools.
  • Leading teams to achieve YoY hiring volume growth in excess of approx. 250-300 total annual offers.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with functional Steering Committee(s) and stakeholders, including hiring managers, vendors, Universities, and the campus team, to build partnerships that yield consistent results, processes and credibility.
  • Identifying, facilitating, and connecting Division HR and Function leadership with the right school faculty in order to drive targeted student attraction and YoY hiring volume growth.
  • Developing & facilitating strong and lasting relationships with career service employees and identifying new opportunities to connect with students (e.g. mock interview days, resumes reviews), and any other relevant individuals involved in the recruiting process.
  • Attending career fairs, competitions, campus presentations, and interviews with a clear plan to develop relationships and referral network.
  • Partnering with ADP to ensure event scheduling and logistics (Career Center events, rooms, catering, A/V) at respective schools is flawlessly executed.
  • Designing and facilitating bi-annual kick off and debrief meetings with key business partners, including an overview of the campus playbook, emerging talent trends, function forecasts, profiles, diversity goals and strategies, etc.
  • Executing our annual communications plan.
  • Owning and sharing school level dashboards with relevant stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date on changing landscape of campus hiring, and ensuring that the company’s campus recruiting strategy remains competitive and differentiated.
  • Partnering with CTAMs to provide input to the functional program Steering Committees on school trends, curriculum/degree design, and applicability.
  • Leading or participating in annual project work focused on process optimization.
  • When possible again, traveling throughout the year to campuses and related events (approx 40%). During Fall and Spring, travel is likely to be 4-5 days/per week for up to 8 weeks.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience, including Campus Recruiting experience within a corporate setting.
  • Ability to travel, with most travel during Fall and Spring.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to lead business partners through influence.
  • Prior experience leading large national programs.
  • Prior experience in creating and leading campus recruiting programs.
  • Prior experience working with Kenexa or another Candidate Management System (aka: ATS).
  • High level of professional maturity and track record of developing strong client partnerships.
  • Must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work undefined situations.
  • Must be collaborative and a team player.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
