This Dallas-based consulting firm has an immediate 3+ month contract opportunity for a UI/UX Designer.  This role will be remote with a preference for candidates within the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. This role will work with the marketing team for a client within the Energy industry, and will work particularly closely with the A/B testing personnel to provide UI/UX designs and assets that support their testing efforts. The ideal candidate for this role should be able to make deliberate design decisions, translating any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive user interface, and should have a passion for creating easy to use and aesthetically pleasing products/experiences for customers to engage with. The candidate will need to have prior experience designing UI for mobile apps – specifically payment processing, managing subscriptions, or similar experiences.

Key responsibilities:
  • Create high fidelity design assets for acceptance, development, and delivery to market in partnership with marketing and technology.
  • Provide detailed specifications for the development team to readily execute upon, including: creation of high fidelity mockups, clearly labeled markup of mockups for developer consumption indicating UI/UX changes from current state, well labeled & organized + web/mobile friendly asset exports, well defined specifications for text/font styling/HEX colors, CSS markup needed, etc.
  • Manage the UI/UX experience for multiple campaigns, landing pages, promotions, and website offers on the company website & mobile application. The role will be independently responsible for taking the requirements from the marketing team, documenting the user flow & journey, and providing the mockups & assets for the A/B testing & development team to execute and deploy. The candidate will work with the client to set and determine KPI's and work collaboratively to plan subsequent UI/UX improvements for each endeavor.
  • Meet with client team to understand business needs and develop user journey goals to drive toward targeted KPI's
  • Responsible for creating seamless UI/UX experiences and user journeys across devices, channels and site/mobile app pages
  • Serve as subject matter expert on UI/UX decisions, making recommendations for best practices and considerations for future planning
  • Formulate, communicate and present clear and concise results and insights to stakeholders

Core Competencies & Accomplishments
  • 4+ years of experience in web UI/UX design
  • 1+ years of experience in mobile UI/UX design
  • Knowledge of industry tools like Adobe, Zeplin, OmniGraffle, Illustrator and Sketch
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Ability to prioritize & deliver multiple projects across various deadlines with minimal supervision or direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.‍
