Long Term Contract Opportunity!
Position: Transformation Training Designer
Location: Plano, TX 75024
Term: 11 Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Consult with Training Project Managers and others to propose design concepts to gain alignment on the best solution(s) based on assessed training needs.
  • Leverage tools and experience to design training prototypes, develop new content or revise existing content, as needed, including eLearning, mobile learning, ILT/vILT, video and web-based performance support content.
  • Design and maintain Intranet websites using basic to advanced coding (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • Research and identify internal/external solutions for new learning frameworks, technologies, strategies and design/development tools.
  • Partner with external vendors to design and develop training resources, as needed.
  • Provide timely and detailed updates on task for all assigned projects, including status against established deadlines, risks/issues and suggested mitigation strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Advanced concept and design production skills in industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced website design and maintenance experience.
  • Proven capability in creating targeted and engaging visual assets for a variety of use cases.
  • Ability to conceptualize and create interactive, user-focused training content in a variety of formats.
  • Ability to work seamlessly on both Mac and PC platforms.
  • Excellent verbal communication, collaboration and writing/editing/proofreading capabilities.
  • Emphasis on staying current in day-to-day design applications, as well as expanding knowledge with potential uses of emerging apps and other technologies
Required Technical Knowledge and Experience
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, Premiere, Acrobat DC)
  • HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
  • O365 (Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Additional Knowledge and Experience
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Articulate Storyline
  • Experience with iOS app/game development.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and User-Centric Design Principles.
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®)
Other Requirements
  • A strong design portfolio, which shows specific examples of previously delivered training content, graphic design and web design.
