Job Description: 
We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Project /Program Manager experienced in business and technology transformation to join the leadership team to replace a custom built loan origination system with a highly configured and customized SaaS solution. You embody the style of a humble, servant leader collaboratively working with other team leaders and players (Architects, Product Managers, Developers, QA Managers, Analysts, Vendors and Delivery Managers). Reporting to the PMO, in this role you will plan, manage and control execution and delivery of a multi-year roadmap including delivery of technology, reengineering of business processes, integration of vendors and maturity of operational capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage program governance and delivery team structure involving multiple work streams and facilitate cross functional (including vendors) meetings to bring the various work streams together to plan and deliver key milestones, understand and manage schedules, issues, risks, and dependencies
  • Partner closely with the project leads of each workstream to harmonize project ceremonies, and facilitate resolution to blocks and mitigate risks, breakdown work into actionable plans, track decisions and open items driving to resolution
  • Partner with vendors to plan and deliver workstream activities and deliverables, track and follow up on closure of key milestones and issues. Prepare and facilitate vendor status meetings
  • Establish and manage key performance metrics for the program
  • Since this is a multi-vendor environment, it is crucial to be able to develop detailed work plans, estimation models, run scrum ceremonies etc. as needed to support the vendors and other workstream leads
  • Partner with Product Managers to communicate and involve business stakeholders in various activities from requirements gathering, process redesign, test planning, communication planning, training and rollout, and operational process maturity 
  • Produce program dashboard and periodic program status reports and steering committee updates
  • Monitor and reconcile vendor delivery progress and billing 
  • Develop collaborative relationships with vendors, partner day to day, influencing and coaching where necessary to  ensure execution, monitoring and controlling, working sessions works within the larger program construct
  • Ensure structure, RACI and RAID are in place, maintained and relevant


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in complex technology-based projects with multiple technical and functional interfaces
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional transformation projects and project teams to address complex business issues under tight deadlines
  • Experience with managing development teams in a SaaS environment with multiple third party vendors
  • Easily flexes between player and coach roles
  • Comfortable in highly ambiguous and startup environments, creating and implementing project management tools if they do not exist
  • Strong planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills are required, detail oriented, organized, self-starter, proactive and works well with limited supervision
  • Ability to assimilate and synthesize a vast amount of information into actionable next steps, assign ownership for multiple workstreams, and drive accountability to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to simplify complex technical and business problems to communicate key issues and risks to, delivery partners, leadership 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Knowledge of both PMI and Agile methodologies is a must. Certifications are a plus
  • Experience managing teams and projects in DevOps frameworks, Scaled Agile, Jira


Preferred:

  • Experience with highly regulated industries (consumer lending, banking, insurance, etc.)
  • Familiarity with establishing and managing PMO processes a plus
  • Experience with a variety of project management tools MS Project, Asana, etc.
