Technical Trainer

This nationwide industry leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity in Southlake, TX for a Technical Trainer.  This is a great opportunity to gain Salesforce experience!  Will be responsible for assisting the project manager in coordinating training sessions for a Salesforce product rollout.   This may consist of booking venues, script development and preparation. The technical trainer is expected to collaborate with other team members throughout the process and may assist in system configuration.  

One successful outcome of site training sessions is visibly clear and concise software adoption across all divisions. While the Project Manager will provide vision and direction to team members and stakeholders throughout the project, the trainer will work alongside, taking direction as needed.
 
Travel: 10-30% (typically overnight travel) - Travel locations will vary across the United States.  Expectations are to fly in and train and fly out every 6-8 weeks working with others on the team.

Responsibilities:    
•    Serves as part of the corporate Salesforce product team 
•    Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions
•    Collaborate with other team members to convert field information and knowledge into best practice guides
•    Prepare educational material such as module summaries in written form or videos
•    Expected to work on multiple deployments/tasks
•    Participates in workstream planning processes including inception, technical design, development, testing and delivery of solutions. 
•    Conduct surveys and interviews
•    Participates in other assigned projects as required

Requirements:

1.    Bachelor’s Degree (strongly preferred) 
2.    Proven experience as corporate trainer
3.    Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint
4.    E-learning software is a plus
5.    Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools 
6.    Phenomenal communication, presentation presence, and public speaking skills
7.    Detail-oriented team player and creative problem solver
8.    Operates with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize workloads to meet demands
