Title: IT Project Manager - Payroll Implementation
Location: Remote role 100%  (PST Hours primarily)
Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire potential

Job Description:
Our rapidly scaling, global  SaaS leader is seeking a Technical Program Manager to support the Business Technology People Tech team. In this role you will be responsible for driving project execution and providing scrum leadership to the People Tech Scrum Team working in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have worked with payroll system implementations in the past and/or has experience working with Workday and other People Tech Cloud applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Project manage various initiatives within the People Tech sphere with a focus on payroll and workday
  • Employ strong communication strategies providing clear and crisp transparency to the status and progress of initiatives at all levels of the organization
  • Building and maintaining alignment and operational excellence. Take a hands-on and proactive approach to unblock progress and introduce efficiencies
  • Scrum Leader who will champion the adoption of agile best practices 
Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management in a cloud Business Technology (BT)/IT organization with a focus on internal people technology systems (for example Workday, Greenhouse, Netsuite, ServiceNow, etc)
  • 2+ years hands-on Scrum Leader experience in a software, SaaS or business systems development environment
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication; experience effectively communicating and presenting to teams located across different locations and people ranging from individual team members to C-level executives
  • Strong technical aptitude; experience working hand-in-hand with business systems’ product owners, technical leads, business systems analysts, configuration administrators, quality and test engineers and/or business process owners
  • Self-starter–able to work well in an ambiguous and constantly changing, fast paced environment, thrives in a dynamic environment with a high rate of change
Education and Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Training in Agile and Scrum
