This fast growing software development and design leader has an immediate 6+ month contract opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with banking/financial industry experience.  Can work 100% remote from anywhere in the United States.


  • Responsible for the technical aspects of projects and deliverables; including modeling/design, technical mapping, ETL development, database development, testing (DUT, SIT, performance), and implementation.
  • Work closely with EPMO, ITG-leadership, and stakeholders for the design, development and execution of data projects, including:
  • Project planning – resource and task estimation
  • WBS planning and management
  • Various artifacts for the EPMO process
  • Day-to-day management of the technical teams
  • 3-5+ years experience as a technical Project Manager.
  • General banking knowledge
  • Understanding of core banking products (deposits, loans etc) and of payments helpful
  • Compliance knowledge (Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions screening etc) preferred for some roles
  • Strong understanding of general Data Warehouse approaches and frameworks, including normalized (3NF) and dimensional data models. Experience with IBM’s BDW model preferred
  • Experience with HPQC, other quality/testing frameworks and applications
  • General experience/familiarity with SDLC
  • Expert communication and facilitation skills
