Long term contract opportunity in Jersey City, NJ for a Technical Business Analyst. Will participate in the full project lifecycle for projects in regulatory and compliance initiatives, partnering with various technology and business project stakeholders to implement regulatory and compliance changes in timely manner. Will be required to understand all aspects of the project lifecycle.
  • End to end accountability for determining solutions for regulatory projects.
  • Write and maintain business/functional requirements documents.
  • Key stakeholder management with various internal customers, partners, and internal and external suppliers.
  • Prepare functional requirements & design document in collaboration with various internal stakeholders and obtained sign off as per project planned.
  • Explain overall requirements to various Applications Owners and engaged in cross review of functional requirements.
  • Ensure system designs and solutions are prepared as per company policies, and procedures and guidelines.
  • Act as a Translator between the Business, Change Team, and Operation and Technology.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels as defined by the individual’s project.
  • Assist in project integration and acceptance testing.
  • Provide support during and post implementation.
  • 10+ years of total experience. 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in regulatory project management or private banking/wealth management, such as MIFID II.
  • Prefer IIBA or equivalent Business Analyst certification.
  • Experience in private banking operations preferred such as client reporting, client on-boarding, etc.
  • Able to work in challenging, demanding, and strict regulatory timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to explain business requirements in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders (supplier, partners, management etc.) in various forum.
  • Experience with working with off-shore team.
  • Excellent business analysis skills.
  • Exposure to various SDLC methodologies.
  • Planning and personal organizational skills.
  • Understanding of basis project managements.
  • Familiar with various project management tools (JIRA, SharePoint, etc.).
