Long term contract opportunity in Tampa, FL for a Technical Architect. Will be a key member of the company’s Cloud Transformation team providing technical leadership and guidance to multiple projects. Will involve diving into complex application architecture, building cloud-optimized design, developing migration strategies, recommending Cloud Native Service solutions, authoring reference architecture artifacts and influencing technology roadmaps by working closely with Engineers and Partner Architects.
  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Certified AWS or Google Solution Architect.
  • 6+ years of progressive Technical or Application Architect role.
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud Computing platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Experience with client/server enterprise Java J2EE web application and Microservice application design.
  • Experience with containers (OpenShift Platform/Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Cloud transformation and application modernization.
  • Experience with Cloud-native architecture and security patterns.
  • Experience with security solutions – authentication, entitlements, encryption, MFA, Federation.
  • Experience in systems scalability and performance optimization.
  • Ability to develop prototypes for proving out new technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of continuous development and integration tools.
  • Knowledge of Big data stack is a plus such as Elasticsearch, Hadoop, HDFS, Kafka.
