Position: Scrum Master /  Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, 28262
Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to develop working relationships with colleagues from across the bank in documentation, back office, front office, technology, risk management and related technology.
  • Liaise with the business stakeholders and translate the requirements into a technology landscape
  • Identify cross-work stream dependencies and optimize
  • Consulting with the Business clients to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into analysis/report designs & recommendations.
  • Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate business and work stream requirements.
  • Perform complex data analysis via SQL and working in databases
  • Perform analysis of data and technology and come up with analysis and present the inference to stakeholders for process and system improvement
  • Responsible for leading business analysis and providing subject matter expertise for technology initiatives.
  • Partners with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for complex business problems and recommend comprehensive technology solutions.
  • Uses domain specific and technology application(s) knowledge to define and lead detailed analysis in response to business & technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements.
  • Responsible for communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
  • Leads project / systems documentation and proactively monitor & manage project schedules and deliverables.
  • Partners with business users and drive development and provision of training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes.
  • Leads system testing and project development lifecycle.
  • Drives compliance through expertise of data accuracy, corporate policies and data security as related to the project.
  • May interact with vendors, external industry participants, and regulatory agencies.
  • May provide guidance and direction to teams, in addition to planning and delivering project initiatives.

  • Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate management reporting, while adhering to data management regulations & policies.
  • Interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Understanding of SDLC, process, design and toolsets
  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis via SQL and working in databases
  • Creation of ad hoc analysis for business requirements.
  • Consulting with the Business clients to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into analysis/report designs & recommendations.
  • Query, extract, analyze, and report data sets (from multiple databases) in order to support and validate management reporting, while adhering to data management regulations & policies.
  • Identifies and recommends internal and external data sources, compiles, mines data from multiple, cross business sources; data involved may be very, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills besides solid presentation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of process analysis and improvement methodologies
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Capital Markets knowledge/experience in processes in risk operations, compliance etc., and regulatory compliance areas like CCAR, Basel-II/2.5/III etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of conversions, system analysis, data mapping, conversion reconciliation, validation and implementations
  • Experience creating data flows, BRD and FSDs
  • Ability to consult with business partners to define key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards
  • Knowledge and understanding of data mapping, mining, or modeling
  • Advanced SQL Server user
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Familiarity with trading desk operations and systems(Calypso, Bloomberg, imagine...)
  • Strong MS office skills (i.e. - complete facility with Excel)
