Tableau Report Developer

Grow your career as a Tableau Report Developer with an innovative global bank. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week. Will be responsible for developing executive level reports in Tableau. Will be responsible for migrating reports that are currently being produced manually on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis in Excel/PowerPoint to automated Tableau reports.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop Tableau dashboards that provide insight into credit risk exposure and facility limit breaches.
  • Work with large data sets to design visually stunning Tableau reports.
  • Lead working groups, stakeholder meetings, and senior presentations.
  • Manage a list of enhancements/bugs (JIRA) for a team of developers across release cycle (Dev, UAT, Prod).
  • Analyze large data sets in Microsoft Excel using pivots and Visual Basic (VBA) to find business solutions.
  • Work directly with end-users or a projects team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop prototypes.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree is required. Prefer degree in Big Data/Computer Programming.
  • 1-2 years of experience creating Tableau reports.
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience designing Tableau reports.
  • Tableau certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau server.
  • Experience connecting API with Tableau server.
  • Familiarity with a variety of vanilla and complex financial products across trading and banking activity (i.e., Swaps, Swaptions, Loans, Structured Products).
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., Pivots and VBA).
  • Experience working with industry standard databases (Oracle, Sybase IQ, Snowflake).
  • Prefer link to own Tableau design work portfolio.
  • Prefer programming/scripting background (i.e., Python).
  • Prefer knowledge of banking infrastructure (front to back): trade capture systems, product processors, risk systems and warehouses.
