Position:  Systems Specialist/Data Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Term: 4 Months

We are seeking a Systems Specialist / Data Analyst to work 100%. As part of a dynamic team, the Systems Specialist provides a wide-range of technical support and training for our suite of Business Intelligence software tools. The position is also responsible for generating and reports as well as on-going report maintenance and distribution, ad-hoc reporting and data quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support to all levels of management on various BI software applications and reports
  • Assist users in utilizing BI software tools through informal training
  • Consistently and accurately track, resolve and communicate resolutions
  • Update and maintain various reports using Microsoft Office and BI systems
  • Participate in designing and building new reports and analytics
  • Participate in creating ad-hoc reports and analytics


Basic Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in training or support role providing software support to application users, troubleshooting problems, creating new tools and/or reports and training new users
  • Minimum 2 years experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Information Systems or 2 years of equivalent experience


Additional Skills/Qualifications:

  • Excel Macros and VBA experience is a plus
  • MS Access or other database experience is a plus
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve issues
  • Ability to maintain and coordinate relationships with employees at all levels of the organization including senior management
