Terrific 9+ months contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, Texas for a Supply Chain Specialist. Will be responsible for timely processing of receiving, shipping and process inventory and goods movement postings, oversee office materials & place orders. Will ensure required materials and finished goods components received timely and accurately and are on hand or inbound to the DCs, ensuring product availability for the North American Bottlers.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Performs all associated job duties related to operational transactions in SAP and Blue Yonder/JDA WMS systems.
  • Meet annual AOP and KPI guidelines, placing purchase requisitions as needed via SAP to facilitate budget plan and cash flow management.
  • Timely and accurate ordering of supplies and reconciliation of expense reports.
  • Drive advantaged customer service by delivering Orders Loaded Accurately with results of 99.8% by complying with SOPs and avoid keying errors when processing shipments to bottlers.
  • Ensure customer service levels are maintained or exceeded, supporting a Fill Rate of 99% and On Time Delivery of 98% through the accurate and timely processing of shipments to bottlers.
  • Continued development and training in Supply Chain best practices, completing 10 hours of online Supply Chain training via MyLearning to enhance self-development.
  • For the NADC’s, perform inventory reconciliation activities for variances between WMS & SAP.
  • Record Quality issues, Vendor NCR’s, Customer complaints, capturing label errors, regulatory concerns, quantity discrepancies, product integrity, etc., ensuring TrackWise entries are made accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and maintain document files (i.e. BOL, Seal Log, Inspection sheets, Training docs, etc.) by accurately maintaining records of all receipt and shipment related documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound receipts, inventory adjustments and shipment processing, research inventory discrepancies and errors.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting inventory discrepancies and adjustments reported by customer service.
  • Timely entry of cycle counts.
  • Blind receiver entry completed and verified against Bill of Lading and entered into SAP system.
  • Compliance with all Warehousing GMP and Plant Food Safety Policies through adherence of Food Safety Programs and Prerequisites as stated in procedures that are listed in SOP’s.
  • Understand AIB audit requirements as it relates to office functions & meet audit compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable company, Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards, evidenced by Zero compliance outages.
  • Drive a safe culture and wear PPE as required in the performance of your job by completing all required EH&S training hours and demonstrating engagement through submitting near misses / good catches.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics or transportation.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft business applications and basic data base systems. WMS, radio frequency (r/f) receiving and shipping experience a plus.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of SOX Compliance and importance of inventory accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and office management procedures.
  • Self-starter who is able to operate based on procedures with minimal guidance.
  • Strong SAP experience and knowledge of T-Code functionality as it relates to inventory accuracy.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform analytical thinking to a root cause resolution.
  • Experience involving accuracy and detail.
  • Inventory settlement experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
