Role: Supply Chain Software Programmer Analyst
Location: Chandler, AZ
Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 (DOE)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an experienced senior software analyst/programmer to join their I.T. Supply Chain Planning team. It is a fast paced environment that requires an individual who can work independently to quickly assimilate both business needs and complex technical requirements. They need someone who is motivated and driven to try new approaches, has experience working with complex software engines and algorithms, and is willing to dig deep for root cause software solutions. You may interact closely with users both locally and abroad to define new requirements as well as identify and resolve existing system integration related problems. You will work in a team environment to make and support appropriate system decisions that fit the team’s goals and culture.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems. A minor in Math or Data Science would be an added bonus. A minimum of 5-7 years of software development including software life cycle experience, experience working with complex software engines and algorithms, and supply chain knowledge is required. Semiconductor knowledge, TCL programming, and Oracle SQL queries is a bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Train initially with an experienced supply chain planning software analyst to understand the Adexa supply chain planning software
- Work mainly on complex algorithms using heuristics for the supply chain planning engine
- Work with the business users/systems analyst to understand new data integration/supply chain planning logic requirements
- Handle projects from requirements to implementation - Analyze user needs, design, implement and test solutions to satisfy those requirements
- Document solutions
- Deliver value to internal customers through a continual understanding of best practices
- Support a production system whose outputs are used across the company everyday
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND CORE COMPETENCIES:
Software Development
Minimum of 5-7 years of software development experience is required. The candidate must be familiar with all stages and deliverable in each stage of the software development life cycle. The candidate must also have experience working with complex software engines and algorithms.
Technical Knowledge
Experience with programming languages and supply chain software required. Experience with TCL programming and SQL queries a plus. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing will be an added bonus.
Problem Solving
The candidate must have critical thinking skills, and should be capable of deep analysis to find root cause complex issues. They should be able to decipher and design complex algorithms.
System Analysis/Design
The candidate must be familiar with all stages and deliverable in each stage of the system development life cycle. Candidate should be able to learn quickly, think efficiently, and inquire effectively in order to gather and understand user requirements. Experience with process flow and data flow diagramming tools is desirable.
Verbal/Written Communication
The candidate must have strong English language (verbal and written communication) skills. Candidate should be able to contribute in group meetings, create project plans, provide project updates, write functional/training documents, and relay information accurately to other parties.

The candidate must be culturally compatible with company values based structure and style and must be able to work with a good work ethic in a collaborative environment with both individual and team decision making. Candidate needs to be proactive, customer-oriented, and be able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
