Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Arlington, TX 76011-7708
Term: 12 Months (09/13/2021 to 09/09/2022)
 
Schedule: Monday*Friday 8-5
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Member of the supply planning function owning the production planning process for all of concentrate produced for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Work with four other Supply Chain Analysts (Requirement Planners).
  • An individual contributor role responsible for the generation of master production requirements to concentrate manufacturing facilities, located on the U.S. mainland as well as overseas, enabling the optimization of production, inventory, & distribution throughout the entire supply chain. This position directly supports over 3 billion 8oz case equivalents annually.
  • Own and execute the requirement planning function within the current avail system.
  • Manage concentrate finished goods inventory at the distribution centers in the U.S. optimizing inventory turns and product availability to the customer base.
  • Establish roll out inventory targets and implement pipeline fill production plans for new carbonated and non-carbonated product launches. Thus, ensure the correct balance between having zero backorders at time of launch while minimizing the chance of product expirations.
  • Manage the master production planning for concentrate products (this includes new product launches as planned in AOP as well as all discontinued products).
  • Execute purchase orders to outside vendors to replenish inventory at our distribution centers.
  • Perform operational analysis and recommend potential technical improvements to Supply Chain Sr. Management resulting in improved production planning and flexible manufacturing strategy.
  • Drive a continuous production planning improvement agenda focusing on optimal business processes throughout the extended supply chain to reduce days of inventory and expirations while embracing product availability.
  • Manage expired and obsolete inventory within the U.S. distribution center network.
  • Collaborate with Senior Forecast Analysts on the technical and process aspects of the position to collectively maintain optimal levels of inventory while maximizing customer service levels.
  • Recognize and apply the company’s global control standard methodology: Control owners to ensure adequate control design and effective execution as required.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s degree in business.
  • 5+ years of detailed knowledge and experience in inventory management, demand planning, material planning and capacity planning.
  • Preferred experience with the food industry and exposure to perishable products.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills. Working knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Prefer SAP experience.
  • Team player with demonstrated proven success working with own department and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient negotiation skills. Use informal networks to influence and deliver initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with cross functional teams across multiple business (i.e., warehouses/plants/3rd party providers.
