Sr. Software Web Engineer

Our client is seeking a Sr. Software Web Engineer for a 6-month contract opportunity! The SSE must have a strong and continuously growing proficiency in Web Development with both traditional and framework based development. This includes actively participating in designing, developing, reviewing, testing and deploying code (including supporting infrastructure) to drive our digital products.

Qualified resources will have a passion for code and putting the customer first and delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extendable and re-usable products.

Responsibilities

Executes full product lifecycle (inception through deprecation) to create highly scalable and flexible wep apps bound for retail customer’s devices.
Collaborates with other Engineers, Creative/UX designers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Architects.

Required Skills and Experience

Expert in development and architectural best practices for responsive web apps/sites (using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery, PHP and SASS) as well as frameworks (such as React, Angular, etc.) as well as their interactions with CMSs (such as Django CMS).
3-5 years of experience in product development as engineer or senior engineer.
Ability to work in an Agile /SCRUM environment.
Well organized with a bias for action with minimal direction.
A team player with a start-up/entrepreneur mindset.
Ravenous about learning technology and problem solving.
Strong writing and communication skills.
