Identity Access Management Engineer (OIDC)

Do you consider yourself a SME in the area of Identity Access Management and have experience working with Application Development teams in the implementation of Open ID Connect protocol (OIDC)?    We are seeking some to join our team with strong technical experience with OIDC or Open ID Connect and can instruct, guide and work with our various primarily Java development teams in the application of this technologies.   

We are in the midst of moving a number of applications and systems from on premises to AWS so experience with cloud applications and systems in AWS would be a plus.   We also use tools for IAM services such as PingFederate, PingAccess, and AWS Cognito?

We are seeking someone on a long term contract and potentially contract to hire basis with strong technical experience with Authentication services (OIDC).   You should have experience with On-prem and Cloud IAM services Ping Identity and Azure authentication systems including Identity Federation protocols such as SAML2, WS-Federation, Kerberos, OAuth2 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).   You also must have experience and understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices.

For this role, some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Plan and develop security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.
  • Work with management and other personnel to identify security best practices and applies a risk-based approach to information security as a senior SME covering the security aspects of Cloud & On-premise IAM services with a focus on Authentication services (SSO and MFA) through PingFederate, PingAccess, Azure and AWS Cognito.
  • Lead less experienced technical staff on the technical aspects of Information Security and specifically the use to Open ID Connect or OIDC.

If you had any cloud or security certifications for Azure or Ping platforms, that would be a plus.    Experience across IT domains such as application development, infrastructure, technical support and operations would also be a plus.   You should have a good working knowledge of cyber security governance frameworks such as NIST and SANS.

This will be a long term contract or potential contract to hire opportunity.   Our entire IT team is currently working from home but once Covid is lifted, this role would be working from our corporate offices in Atlanta.    If you consider IAM to be your specialty and have solid skills with OIDC, please apply so we can discuss this in more detail with you.
