Our client is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for a direct-hire opportunity! This role will be 100% remote. 

The Senior Product Manager owns the vision and delivery of SaaS, mobile and customer-hosted software products tailored to the Gaming and Hospitality security vertical markets. This Senior Product Manager serves as the internal and external product expert and champion who is an accomplished market research practitioner. She/he combines objective data and subjective feedback to envision the products’ trajectory to meet demands and improve appeal to enable sales growth.

The Senior Product Manager gathers and prioritizes customer requirements, defines the product vision and works closely with software engineering and all stakeholders to increase the appeal and usability of their products. She/he employs feedback from user workshops and surveys, professional services, technical support, sales and customer success teams in addition to competitor research and objective usage data. The Senior Product Manager's experience helps them synthesize feedback from all sources and turn vague problems into clear product plans with capabilities that work across multiple vertical markets.

  • Understand what makes a software product great, how it works, looks and how to improve it.
  • Build the product roadmap to support Company business strategy, leveraging strong process and project management abilities to envision and manage the product lifecycle from idea through delivery, support go-to-market plans, and lead with a customer-first mindset.
  • Become an expert on the gaming and hospitality security operations market segment, both current and future. Provide SaaS thought leadership and direction to create new SaaS applications and selectively re-engineering existing capabilities.
  • Develop requirements for highly differentiated gaming and hospitality security market segment solutions, products, and/or services. Analyze requirements, set strategy and identify market opportunities.
  • Provide timely and meaningful product performance reports – specifically related to software development and product release plans.
  • Collect feedback from the field on new feature requirements and enhancements in efforts to drive product appeal and usability. Conduct discussions on collected feedback to clarify and consolidate submitted ideas and requests. Collaborate outside PM to obtain projected cost/benefit estimates.
  • Conduct and collaborate on market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer targets and their needs; apply acquired knowledge to current products when considering new products or solutions.
  • Participate in sales, business development and other customer calls and meetings to listen, interpret and understand first-hand the needs and requirements of prospects and customers.
  • Ensure product development processes follow Agile (or similar) principles and align with company resource planning and allocation efforts.
  • Lead the go-to-market process for product launch and incremental roll-out of new capabilities in cooperation with leaders in marketing, technical support and other cross-functional groups.
  • Establish and manage product advisory boards, partnering with key customers and consolidating their feedback to accelerate product innovation.
  • Articulate new product features and benefits to internal groups including marketing, sales, support and professional consulting services.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI architects to design intuitive interfaces, providing clear guidance to development teams.
  • 5+ years of software Product Management experience required; commercial software experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Gaming security or Hospitality security required.
  • Certified Product Owner, Product Manager and/or strong understanding of Agile/Scrum techniques desired.
  • Hands-on experience designing B2B applications usable by both technically advanced and typical business users.
  • Experience defining, tracking and delivering technical product features from inception through execution.
  • Demonstrated experience developing SaaS, vertical market or manufacturing software products.
  • Experience guiding products through technological transformations.
  • Master’s degree in Business or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Innate ability to listen, interpret and understand customer needs and expectations, translating them into superior, innovative solutions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to construct a winning roadmap by making difficult, yet defensible, trade-off decisions to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to conduct effective research, mine data and apply strategic thinking to executive-level pitches and presentations.
  • Experience implementing and managing multiple product management and software development methodologies including some (or all) of Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall among others.
  • A track record of building efficient, effective software with exceptional user experience.
  • Demonstrable project management and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills required.
  • Thorough understanding of Product Management skills, processes, best practices and ability to mentor others.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required; mastery of Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
