Essential Job Functions (Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities)

 Omnichannel Order Management Development (75) %

  • Understand the OMS and Omnichannel business processes/policies and be able to merge their expectation with technical goals.
  • Become a development expert in the Companies OMS and related Omnichannel program development lifecycle includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Participate as a team member of business analysts, SME, consultants, and vendors responsible for delivering business requirements documentation, process flows, functional specifications, and system design and requirement documentation.
  • Co-ordinate requests for new feature functionality & change requests with our development partner and ensure quality of the deliverables.
  • Build & Deploy code to all the environments managed by our team and cross-functional partners.
  • Manage augmented and offshore developers' work by properly transitioning duties, keep track of the progress, helping resolve difficult issues, and keeping leadership informed.
  • Network with internal and external customers to identify opportunities to improve Omni Order Management through better usage of existing system functionality, development of new enhancements, and/or adaptation of better business processes.
  • Understand the end-to-end back-end application landscape and be able to diagnose and solve technical problems related to ERP and OMS applications.
  • Participate in tests, including system, integration, and customer acceptance, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

Omnichannel Order Management Production Support and Maintenance (25) %

  • Deliver high quality of production support and maintenance service levels, particularly during times of high volume and peak order taking and processing
  • Lead and/or participate in outage calls and Root Cause Analysis for production problems.
  • Co-ordinate with business and support teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports.

 Supervisory/ Budgetary/ External Communications

  • Collaborate closely with Order Management software providers and professional services partner(s)

Knowledge Skill and Ability Requirements (Minimum Required for Job Performance)

  • Strong architectural, design, analytical, and communication skills are required
  • Distributed Order Management experience is highly desirable
  • Self-assured and confident with a professional approach; ability to work under pressure toward tight deadlines; willingness to learn, a can-do attitude, and motivated to succeed and grow

Prior work Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience is required
  • 2+ years experience in Java programming language preferred
  • 4+ years experience with Order and Inventory Management (order capture, order allocation, order fulfillment, supply demand matching, inventory management, purchase order management), preferably in a multi-channel environment (eCommerce, Retail, Wholesale)

Physical Demands

  • No physical lifting of goods and/or equipment
  • This role will be located in our Buckhead office
