Grow your career as a Sr. Java Microservices Developer with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week. Will build the foundational framework for all ATM micro-services and also work on Atlas and GCS decoms.
 
Qualifications:
  • 10 years hands on Java Developer. Hands on Lead is preferred with several recent projects with Microservices.
  • 12+ years of experience in financial services - delivery experience in Front, Middle and Back Office technologies on large scale, real-time enterprise platforms of high trade volume is a must.
  • 5+ years of Capital Markets experience.
  • 2.5 years in Microservices.
  • Key expertise needed: Java, Microservices and Financial Services.
  • Exposure to function and features of Java 8 and above. The platform is using Java 11 for the development.
  • Strong hands-on experience on Java, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Netflix OSS. Robust understanding of API Management and Gateways.
  • Messaging Environments: Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cloud/ECS architecture with complex data analytics applications leveraging relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elastic).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with data-heavy/analytics applications leveraging relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, CouchDB).
  • Applications built on modern web technologies and techniques such as SASS, LESS, JavaScript (ES5, ES6 & ES7), RxJS and TypeScript using libraries such as AngularJS, Angular2, Angular4, React, jQuery, Node.js, Ajax, JSON and Bootstrap.
  • Expertise in niche large scale container technologies on Microservices based environments. Architect monolithic applications into re-usable and scalable Microservices.
  • Experience with big data technology stack - Hadoop/Spark/Hive/MapR – is recommended.
  • Knowledge in diverse financial products is recommended - FX, Equities, OTC and Listed Derivatives, Rates/Credit and Commodities.
