Role Overview:
 
This role will provide leadership for the email delivery team for one of our Premier Financial Services clients. You will ensure that the team is operating at a high level, have an established plan, that they are working cross functionally to achieve it, that they are data driven and revenue focused, that we have the tools and processes necessary to win. You own the execution and operational process of email campaigns and marketing automation platforms.
 
Role Overview:
  • Defining and owning the operating model and rhythm of the team.
  • Own the planning processes and cycle to ensure we are driving towards a clear strategy in a coordinated way.
  • Implement a project management and quality assurance methodology for the team.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and ways to enable the team to do more work in less time.
  • Own the deployment of our email design system in Marketo that has been designed by our marketing and creative partners.
  • Establish a roadmap for the marketing automation infrastructure for the next three years and work with appropriate internal and external resources to execute against the plan.
  • Manage team to execute programs, emails, landing pages, workflows, smart lists and reports for all marketing programs.
  • Manage all email communications and email calendar for all internal and customer facing communications.
  • Have a "been there, done that" experience level with Marketo and other email tools so that we can imagine a future where our use cases go beyond Marketo's core competencies.
  • Have enterprise experience developing component-based email templates and the process improvement to ensure that marketing isn't "recreating the wheel" for every email.
Required Experience:
  • Strong Track record of leading teams of SMEs to elevate brand and penetration amongst the largest, most strategic players through insight driven marketing programs.
  • Expertise with Adobe Marketing Suite, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Marketo.
  • Experience managing leaders with direct accountability of employees.
  • Assisting with strategy an execution on Marketo implementations and ongoing platform optimizations.
  • Successful experience developing credible and repeatable insight-driven Customer Success programs that elicit elevated revenue growth.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, including ability to create and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations to executive audiences.
  • Strong foundation in modern marketing concepts and tools including ABM, Digital, data acquisition, A/B testing, buyer personas, buyer’s journeys, lead nurturing, marketing automation platforms, sales automaton platforms, waterfall optimization and inbound marketing.
  • Upholding the standardized QA process across subsidiaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage the power of digital technologies (MAP, SFA, etc.) in demand creation is essential for this role.
  • Superior understanding of product portfolio, key segments, target customers, customer challenges, buyer profiles, and buying criteria.
  • Exceptional internal and external communication skills including copywriting, editing and proofing.
  • Strong financial skills and analytic competence, including the ability to develop business cases.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and managing creative agencies, is essential.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required and MBA Preferred.
