Our client, a leading enterprise software provider headquartered in Raleigh, NC is is search of a Business Process Analyst to join their growing team on a project to consolidate multiple billing systems into one enterprise platform.

Job Summary

Our clients' Global Financial Transformation and Operations team is looking for a Process Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will provide support for business process improvement for the Revenue Recognition accounting area. You will provide methods, tools, and analysis for process management and improvement. A strong candidate will have some accounting/auditing background with ASC606 experience a huge plus. We'll need you to contribute to the creation and documentation of future state business processes as well as the assessment and validation of current processes and gaps. You will model, design, and align processes with an organization's strategic goals, design and implement process architectures, as well as establish process measurement systems that align with organizational goals. As a Process Analyst, you will report directly to the Manager, Business Process for Record to Report .

Job Description

Provide analysis and develop business process diagrams and models to support process design or redesign initiatives.
Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures.
Support with interviews and meeting facilitation with business owners to derive and validate business process models and gaps.
Using Business Process Modeling Notation, document current and future state business processes at a suitably detailed level to derive required insight.
Analyze and document dependencies between new and existing processes
Identify key business readiness considerations, activities and deliverables in order to adopt changes resulting from business process or systems improvements.
Monitor business readiness and adoption through process performance audits and reports.
Partner with other teams at our client, particularly IT, to collaborate on issues and address improvement opportunities.
Drive meetings, build presentations, and engage stakeholders effectively to bring about change
Assist in doing root cause analysis in existing process and help drive long term solutions to improve business outcomes
Experience with RevStream and/or vendor relations is a huge plus

Job Skills

Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in Accounting / Business Administration or Computer Information Systems is preferred
Six Sigma yellow-belt certification, Six Sigma green-belt certification preferred
3+ years' experience in consultative business process design, change, and implementation
Business acumen; familiar with revenue recognition accounting, finance, and tax
Curious and passionate about discovering how processes work, with a proven track record of learning new concepts quickly
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to quickly learn and apply skills for Business Process Diagram development and BPMN (modeling notation)
Experience working with multiple functional areas including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and IT
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, good presentation skills, good organizational skills
Comfortable working in a global and multi-cultural work environment
Comfortable with cross-functional teams and experience implementing change

Manager Summary
Process analyst will be working with SME to assist on in flight projects
Need them to be able to conduct process mapping, identify policies, help identify risks, call out improvement opportunities, and SOX control enhancements.
?They will need to create process documentation and future state process maps once enhancements are in place, and may also need to assist in vendor relations with existing vendor (RevStream).
A strong candidate will have accounting/audit background and may be familiar with ASC606 revenue recognition accounting. They will also have experience with SOX controls, stakeholder engagement, and working on global and cross-functional teams, particularly IT.
This role will be supported by a SME and a member of several projects already in flight.
