Our Healthcare Insurance client is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to join their team for a contract-to-hire role!

Position: Sr. Solution Architect 
Term: 8 Months, Contract to Hire
Location: Remote, USA
** While the position is Remote, work from home, to be eligible to convert to an employee of this company, you must reside in North Carolina or one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming

Required Skills 

  • Bachelors degree in software development, data, information systems or similar technical field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years data engineering experience
  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years of scripting or programming experience with Python, JavaScript, Go, etc., including the use of APIs or web services
  • Demonstrated experience working with business stakeholders to collect requirements, design, create and validate solutions.
  • Data modeling proficiency for building reporting data models
  • Experienced and comfortable working with web analytics platforms, martech platforms, CRM and ERP/SIS systems.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with multiple database platforms such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake, etc
  • Experienced and comfortable working with modern data pipeline tools such as Stitch, Airbyte, Dagster, Airflow, dbt, etc.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with data visualization technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, Google Data Studio, etc.

The Data and Analytics Solution Architect brings in-depth data technical and functional experience and helps our clients build modern Data & Analytics solutions to meet business needs. This involves quickly learning business use cases and applying them to modern data architecture principles. This leader will partner to help teams successfully deliver data and analytics services. The D&A Solution Architect will also lead solution assessment projects and is the primary interface with the clients technology and business leaders, providing high-level technical solution consulting and project leadership.

  • Serves business in a billable capacity as a data and analytics solution architect
  • Meets regularly with the business for requirements gathering and solution validation
  • Be both strategic and hands on when delivering data and analytics solutions for the business
  • Collaborates with the Enterprise Architect to propose and validate the technical path for new data and analytics solutions
  • Sets patterns for engineers to follow and anti-patterns for engineers to avoid
  • Reviews completed solutions to ensure quality and adherence to standards
  • Partners with IT delivery and Analytics teams to provide consistent delivery of data and analytics solutions
  • Helps to create the vision for data and analytics service offerings and products
  • Partners with Business Development to respond to RFPs and develop technical solutions for proposals
