The Solutions Architect (SAP) will be responsible for the working on the design of the clients next generation ERP landscape and must have deep experience with 3 party software integration and planning. The ideal candidate will have a track record of implementing enterprise wide technology initiatives from project charter to post implementation support.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Deep experience with SAP and 3rd party software integrations.
  • Demonstrated expertise working in large enterprise environments with large logistics and/or retail industry concepts/challenges.
  • Experience with relevant technology stack and off-the-shelf products from vendor.
  • Experience with wider ecosystems including integrations with order management and inventory management systems.
  • Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks.
  • Provide solution architectures spanning highly complex processes, systems, applications and technologies.
  • Ensure solution is scalable, sustainable and meets overall business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between Technical team, Functional team, Business Functions, and System Integrators to drive architecture solutions.
  • Ability to immerse in a function or technology to develop advanced level of proficiency in a time box.
  • Provide clear options, measures of performance and assessments for architectures to the program, project and product teams as required.
  • Document and proficiently explain complex architectures at any level of detail to any and all levels of the organization
  • Lead Solution Architecture reviews (also known as functional review boards) with program and product teams prior to design and development activities and ensure solution is scalable, is aligned with internal product roadmaps and meets customers’ business requirements.
  • Lead subsequent reviews of agreed architecture at critical project phases.
  • Provide clear options, measures of performance and assessments for architectures to the program, project and product teams as required.
  • Mentor additional team resources as necessary, especially junior solution architects.
