Position: Software Engineer
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55415
Term: 9 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and help with design requirements that fit an existing system or a new system.
  • Collaborate extensively with peers, Business Analysts, Development and Product Partners to resolve client issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of a long term strategy, roadmap with internal business units, enterprise architects, project management teams and vendor partners.
  • Drive resolution of the most critical, complex blocking issues
  • Pro-actively collaborate with the team to identify key platform impacts, integration risks, risk mitigations, create & review deliverables during the entire project life cycle.
  • Create relevant SDLC deliverables as part of standard project implementations
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to the team's delivery processes.
  • Mentor/Coach junior team members.
  • Trusted advisor at the project level
  • SME at application level
  • Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
  • Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
  • Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
  • As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
  • 5+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 1+ years of Agile experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of CRM projects, tools, and systems
  • Experience leading a business requirements process with both technical and business partners
  • 1+ years of JIRA experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL 
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
