Position: Angular Developer
Location: Des Moines, Minneapolis, Charlotte, Phoenix/Chandler
Term: 6 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
  • Maintains broad knowledge of other technology engineering disciplines and collaborating with other key experts to ensure we are making the right technology choices for the client.
  • Translates advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions.
  • Responsible for being an expert resource for architects in the development of target architectures to ensure that they can be properly designed and implemented through sound engineering practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
  • Provides expert counsel to senior technology leadership and advises and mentors others with the goal of knowledge transfer.
  • Represents the Company to external industry groups, influencing industry standards. 


Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5 + years of expert level experience working with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 3+ years of web development experience using Angular.
  • 3+ Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, npm, Yarn.
  • 3+ years of writing unit and end to end tests for frontend code.
  • 2+ years of working any CSS framework ex: Bootstrap, foundation.
  • 3+ years of experience with implementing complex business solutions with design patterns.
  • 3+ years of experience with version control (Git/SVN/Bitbucket) and branching strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of application and web security
  • Knowledge and understanding of performance optimization.
  • Knowledge and understanding of web systems: architecture or design
  • Knowledge and understanding of Node.js programming and architecture.
  • Knowledge and understanding of component frameworks ex: primeng, angular material.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of accessibility methods and standards, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), or section 508 compliance guidelines
  • Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
  • Knowledge and understanding of relational databases
  • Knowledge and understanding of other web application framework like ReactJS, Vue.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
