Position: Software Design Engineer
Location: Richmond, Virginia, 23226
Term: 6 months
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues.
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
  • Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed.
  • Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • 4+ years’ experience in web and software development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies.
  • Prior work experience in a high pace corporate environment.
  • Experience working on complex software projects.
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
  • Experience with C# 7.0 / 8.0.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Core 3.1, Entity Framework 6.
  • Experience with Angular 11, Typescript 3.1.
  • Experience with HTML 5, Responsive Design framework. (Bootstrap / Foundation framework)
  • Experience with Javascript.
  • Experience with T-SQL. (MSSQL)
  • Experience with Services - WCF, REST Api, Azure Services.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2016/2019.
  • Experience with Git, TFS, VSTS.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
Even better if you have:
  • . NET Core 3.1, .NET Framework 4.7.2, .NET Standard 2. (.Net 5)
  • General Knowledge of Azure concepts.
  • Experience/knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Mobile development. (Progressive Web Applications)
