Position: Software and Electronics Support
Location: Atlanta, GA, 30313
Term: 6 Weeks (11/20/2020 to 12/31/2020)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

  • Resolve field escalation issues related to software, hardware on Freestyle equipment
  • Communicate with key customer teams to provide status updates on field issues
  • Propose software feature enhancements to improve customer operation and improve equipment uptime
  • Service as a voice of field operations in the development of new equipment and software
  • Investigate field software and electronic component issues and provide fixes
  • Identify and resolve field issues from software logs and multiple databases systems
  • Leverage data for prediction and modeling to improve performance and operations
  • Work with embedded teams to determine advanced diagnostics and data needs to reduce time to repair
  • Develop key reports for lower level support staff be able to self-diagnose field issues
  • Leverage data to solve complex performance issues around software and hardware
  • Support dispenser improvement projects outside of software and hardware that drive customer satisfaction
  • Understand the impact of solutions to field, operations, customers, and engineering as well as their possible interactions
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to influence and negotiate with senior leadership
  • Lead a cross functional team to resolve complex issues and drive system improvements

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related engineering field
  • 5+ years of working in technical or field operations in customer facing roles.
  • 2+ years experience with either Java or C/C++ in embedded Linux environment
Even better if you have:
  • 2+ years of SQL experience
  • 7+ of working in technical or field operations in a customer facing role
  • 2+ years working the Coca-Cola Freestyle ecosystem
  • Has worked on software releases end to end including supporting multiple releases in the field
  • Knowledge of Client-Server design and patterns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including methods such as 8D, DMAIC
