Position: SharePoint Developer
Location: Summit, New Jersey, 07901
Term: 14 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Will be working closely with the business and architects to document the current state and enhance current applications to ensure 2022 regulatory and compliance requirements are met for all applications
  • Acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents programs using Agile development practices.
  • Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments.
  • Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments.
  • Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures.
  • Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets.
  • As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems.
  • Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff.
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

  • 3+ years creating / deploying / maintaining SharePoint Designer 2013 workflows
  • 3+ years of support experience with Microsoft SharePoint administration (e.g., site, list, library, view creation and modification) and custom solution development (e.g., SharePoint Designer and InfoPath)
  • SharePoint forms experience (e.g., InfoPath, Dynamic Forms for SharePoint (DFFS), HTML forms)
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining custom SharePoint solutions (e.g., SharePoint Designer workflows, .ASPX pages, client side / browser scripts (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS))
  • Javascript / jQuery scripting experience
  • T-SQL query writing experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
  • Working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and ability to write VBA scripts and maintain existing scripts.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently as well as be an engaged and contributing team member.
  • Strong time management and organization skills that lead to consistently meeting deadlines
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

Desired Qualifications:
  • Sharegate reporting and migration experience
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) SharePoint
  • jQuery / JavaScript
  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
