Position: ServiceNow Implementation and Integration Manager
Location: Annapolis, MD, 21401
Term: 19 Months Contract
 
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7AM - 5PM (flexible start/end) with possible OT.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Responsible managing projects from inception to closure. This includes, but not limited to, planning, design, requirements capturing/clarification, leading technical teams, risk/mitigation, status reporting, communication, process and technical improvements.
  • Responsible for building a strong team of ServiceNow implementors for multiple ServiceNow modules.
  • Work closely with the ServiceNow Technical Lead and be the primary contact for business unit project leads.
  • Collaborate with and coordinate subcontractors. Will be deeply involved in status, demand and pipeline management, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage large-scale project with overall responsibility for project's success.
  • Coordinate with and manage IMS business unit and related shared service project leads or ServiceNow product owners and any appropriate third-parties.
  • Manage and motivate project teams.
  • Work with senior leadership sponsors to develop and execute an organizational change management strategy as this product will roll out worldwide and across various customer markets.
  • Plan schedules and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Guide and monitor work performance to ensure key performance measures for business and customer success are met or exceeded.
  • Initiate and prioritize projects directly supporting platform strategy and roadmap while translating projects to development teams.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on ServiceNow platform operations, configuration and development to include 3rd party integrations.
  • Assess, monitoring, and mitigate project risks.
  • Estimate resources needed on the project to ensure success.
  • Provide and/or present regular status reports and reviews within the project team and to all levels of leadership.
  • Initiate and maintain issue and action logs, taking responsibility for identifying and coordinating resolution of all technical and business issues.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, vendors and customers.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate vendor activities.
  • Work with stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates and demonstrations, resolve issues and conflicts, and provide responsive change management.
  • Develop and maintain both programmatic and technical documentation.
  • Participate in meetings; follow up on direction, action items, questions, documentation, etc.
  • Work with other leads to help prioritize program and product backlogs.
  • Drive continuous improvement within your own development team and matrixed project teams while maintaining or improving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assess and identify training and skill-development opportunities to ensure the ServiceNow development team stays current with platform releases and industry standards.
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow Experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience as Technical Project Manager/Implementation authority.
  • 3+ years managing ITSM initiatives and/or technical solutions.
  • Experience leading a successful enterprise ServiceNow implementation.
  • Active PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with Agile project development.
  • ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation certified.
  • Strong system integration experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to convey critical project information to executive-level leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with and managing an implementation partner.
  • Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter and quick learner with lots of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prior experience migrating from prior ITSM solutions to ServiceNow.
  • Aviation Industry Experience.
  • Ability to understand and document business requirements and translate them into technical requirements (e.g., use cases, user stories).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field combined with minimum 10 years’ experience.
  • Or an advanced degree in related field combined with minimum 7 years’ experience.
